Oh, thank goodness! So that's normal, and it looks like I have a healthy batch of eggs. :wee
Look here...see the right side..we will call it the fake air cell side.

Here is a day 5 egg.
Notice you don't really see an air cell yet...left side.
That's what most of mine look like. There are several that are darker but still have the light end.

What am I going to do if they *all* hatch? :jumpy

Hi! Just had my first hatch- I got lucky and have 31 chicks out of 36 fertile eggs. However, one seemed weaker than the rest and passed away on day 2 in the brooder. Is this normal? Should I be concerned about the other guys? All the others seem bright and happy and are eating and drinking as far as I can tell.
