No.
You can sell them but...is there a market for males in your area.

Extra cages is not an option.

I think there is and I could probably find homes for them but I’m not sure. I’m a member of a homesteading/farming FB group that’s pretty active and very nice so I’m sure I could find homes for them there or if that fails, could always resort to Craigslist haha and they also usually have a farm day/farmers market type thing every so often I could probably sell animals at, people have before. And we have tons of regular farmers markets every week around here too but I’m not sure if I could sell animals at those. But I definitely could at the farm day thing or find nice, caring people I trust on the group. Although I don’t care if people eat them or not so Craigslist would probably work too ha so yeah. Sure I could find homes for them quite fast. But I’m working on getting up the nerve to kill them too. I am sure I could do it haha just not sure if my parents would be 100% on board, I think they still think meat animals are gross and/or cruel or whatever, but I’m sure if I was doing it myself they would probably be fine with it.

And just out of curiosity, why is extra cages not an option? Would they fight if kept together? Or just that it would get to be too many birds? I don’t mind feeding more ha could I separate into different colors too? Or different breeding groups?

Still working on a plan for the extra males though ha

These are the horizontal nipples and almost brand new so I don’t think it is build up or anything. Seems more like the leak is at the base where it is threaded against the bucket if that makes sense.

I was really excited to have a mess free way to give clean water but not sure now. :barnie

With my last nipple waterer for the chickens we made the holes a bit too small and also screwed them in really tight both of which eventually caused the bucket to crack and caused leaking so I wonder if that could possibly be your issue? Although you say yours are brand new? My bucket took a while to crack and start leaking. With the new bucket we built though we made the holes bigger and screwed it in looser and so far so good, although we only made it a few months ago. We use the regular horizontal watering nipples.

We used the recommended drill bit size so I think I’m okay there.

No extra cages because you'll turn into a hoarder.
