I'll be candling my eggs tonight.
Day one.
I haven't decided just yet how often I need to be weighing them.

I am trying to determine just how quick after setting life can be seen.

I know I have seen it by day three but I want to see it sooner.

When i did weights i did it on the Normal candle days

1 (setting eggs. Any cracks, porous shells, floating air sacs, etc.?)
7 (are they developing?)
15 (do I need to pull any before lockdown?).

I guess with quail 3, 7 and 14?

I havent traved air cells in a long time but those are def the days i did it on chicken chicks back in the day

I like day 3 for life, day 7 for early quitters, day 14 is my lockdown. If im adding water ill just stop turning and wait for water til i see the first pip.

Haha. Its worked just fine for me. I think you just like to be nosey with your eggs. I bet you would go for an ultrasound once a week if you were pregnant.
