We chose to “take off” from all of the pending chores today and enjoy the backyard! Chores procrastinated until tomorrow! I released some “littles” and brought the turkey poults out to play for the day!!!! It’s absolutely hilarious watching them! And show me “livestock” that responds to commands!!!! The chukars, pheasant, and quail are all by nature inquisitive about the newbies but it doesn’t take much than a “no no” from us to keep them from hurting the littles!!!
Nice!! Sounds fun!!
And
some of my chickens respond to no too!! One of them was eating one of my vegetables once, I said no from a little bit of a distance, didn’t listen so I said no cut that out don’t eat that and she came running over to me, looked me in the eye like “sorry” and carried on
Another chicken tried right after... now she was not as bright

I said the same thing, had to say it like 3 times, and eventually walk towards her and shoo her away myself. She wouldn’t listen LOL brat!!
The other one though... I was amazed. Didn’t think it’d work lol but just like a dog! “No.” No response. (well actually looked me like “what?” Soo... “No” again, a little firmer this time. Like magic she comes running over.

no idea why!! it was just dead in the feeder this afternoon......(brooder feeder is a flat ceramic dish that i had just cleaned this am)
