Are thies scissors good for butchering quail?

I prefer the heavy duty kitchen scissors.

Some will say for butchering. The thinner blades are a concern cutting through bone.

You won't know for sure ntil you try them.
I went through about 6 pairs until i found some that felt right.
Just remember you still have to pull as you cut.

And be able to sharpen. Mine came with a ceramic hone. Really comes in handy butcher day.

As you're cutting the head you still have to kind of pull it off too.
You'll see when you actually do it.

Ok...And i found a scissor shapener

Dont know if it will work with the scissors i have chosen. It says it adjusts to the blade size.

I only do this when the scissors don't quite get through the skin. Keep in mind the scissors are optional. Pulling the heads off is easy.
