Probably.

It just seems like so many dump them in desolate areas but I guess not always and there’s probably way more in populated areas.

Actually it’s probably easier to get away with it in more populated areas cause nobody really cares or pays attention to what others are doing ha

If people started turning up missing in a small town or there was some new, shady person hanging around, people would probably notice right away.

Haven’t you ever watched Dateline or 20/20 or 48 Hours or any of those type of shows!? It’s almost always some small town in the middle of nowhere and they’re always like “this kind of thing never happens here. We’re a quiet/peaceful town. We know everybody.” But it always does. The psychos purposely pick the desolate empty areas where no one lives!! Easier to hide/bury things and get away with it

It's TV. They cherry pick the dramatic cases and set them up as normal because it's more exciting than interviewing neighbours that say "Huh? What murder are you talking about? Oh, the one last week? Yeah, there was one this week too."

I got the new brooder jury rigged. I took an old plastic bin and cut a hole in the lid and duct taped hardware cloth over it. I tried staples, but they wouldn't go through the plastic. It's about 2.5 times the size of the 20 gallon aquarium I was using as a brooder for the smaller batches of chicks.

I've got a similar set up for my brooders, I just use a drill to put holes along the edge and then zip ties to attach the wire to the lid.

probably true!! Although I can’t imagine there’s weekly murders in small towns haha

Most of the cases on TV are like the big huge interesting or unsolved/cold ones though.

Its 13 degrees today here... Happy all my birds are indoors! Except the sparrows. I had to make a quick trip to fill the bird feeder in the front garden for them.
