My coturnix aren’t laying yetthe buttons are almost 4 months old and these are first eggs.....coturnix can lay as early as 6 weeks but i’ve also had some that didn’t lay until 3ish months old.

I get a "new" egg occasionally, don't know who the deliverer is though. I've gotten a few guinea eggs, decided I'd put them in the Incubator just for curiosity's sake. Don't know if they're fertile even.Even that is still extremely early compared to a chicken!! Haha
