But you should! Life is worth celebrating. I'm going to celebrate because it's a way to celebrate life. I'll grieve some too, but life is precious, and I'm not done with it yet by a long shot.

That's my mom's death anniversary, though. I don't know how well I'm going to be celebrating my birthday from now one, to be honest. My roommate of 20 years passed away on my birthday this year.

If this happens again I'd tell you to stop all treats.

i doubt it....he was usually more interested in crowing and trying to breed the females while they were eating treats this one was kind of a freak death, but yes if it happens again especially to one of the “hogs” i will consider treats as possible cause.....i’m really leaning toward some type of injury with the internal bleeding etc

4/6 of my littles had ventured out today, i found 3 huddled behind the coop, and 1 in the pink box. I collected them and put them back in to the bench with the other 2.

Alas, no. At this point I don't expect to see her again. I did find the food dish, though. It was sitting on one of my lawn chairs. I really need to get a camera. Maybe I'll get myself one for my birthday.

Maybe someone just wanted to pet her and maybe hand feed and she got out of hand? Still irritating but not quite so much as intentional theft.
