Pure white. I thought two of them were albino when they were still yellow, but their eyes darkened up. I'm not really into the white birds, so I'm happy to sell them all.

When I unblock that back side so they can see out they get excited.
I had it blocked last night to prevent sideways rain blowing in. It barely sprinkled and the news man made it seem like nastiness was going to be rolling through.

Nastiness sure came through here today. I think the ick y’all were scheduled for moved northward and grew claws.
It’s been in the 20s all day, so not that bad for temps, but the wind! Anybody would think we were in WY. Blowing, drifting snow, but thankfully not that much of it. Ick. I wanted to take my daughter out to lunch for her BD but didn’t want to drive into town. She didn’t even want to drive across town. So... next weekend, I guess.

x2. His writing style is simply beautiful. Few writers I can think of deserve the title of being masters at their craft, but he is one of them.

If you love beautiful fantasy, you may like George MacDonald’s fairytales, too. I believe he was one of Tolkien’s inspirations. Phantasties is amazing, and I could read Lilith a hundred tImes. Most of his work is available free on kindle since it’s all common domain.

I have gotten 9 quail eggs so far today

That's pretty sweet!
I got the usual 3 from my layers, and then got 3 new eggs from the 5 week olds. I'm happy with that! But I have 4-5 awesome boys that I don't have any girls to put with. I sold 15 girls a couple weeks ago!

I have someone coming by to buy 20 of my youngsters tomorrow. That will feed the rest of my birds for a while.

I only got $85 for 30 birds, but I figured it was better than not getting anything.

I don't think that's his plan for them. He asked if they were good for eggs, so I think that's what he's planning for them. I hope he doesn't expect them to hatch their own chicks.
