I, too, have an inordinate fondness for hand tools, despite the fact that it would be roughly five times faster to simply get the power tools out. I only gave in and started using drills recently. I got a neat little magnetic attachment for my impact driver that keeps the screws from popping off so easily, which provided motivation for me to switch.

The white one has a reddening comb. They look like little midgets compared to everyone else because of their age. They snuck out the chain link fence the other day and they waited by the door for us to put them back in

I just bought our power drill last year. I used to borrow my dad's tools.

I wanted to just throw my latest coop together fast and cheap but my dad is going all out

See, you're lucky to have someone to help you. If I try to build something, I have to figure it out and do it all myself. I had a friend build the coop for me, but I can't ask more out of him. I may ask a neighbour how much he wants to help me finish one more piece. Then I'll have lots of room for grow outs and still have three breeding/egg pens.

I honestly dont think I will have a problem selling them. I want to. I don’t have the room and I knew from the start that I would have to rehome the boys so that is not the issue or why I am waiting.






They’re taken care of! I just don’t cuddle or handle them or whatever haha

And I want to rehome them. But I want to be sure how many males I have and list them all at once. Don’t wanna accidentally rehome a girl haha

Also I kind of want to keep one. I have a plan. That has not changed. I’m not putting off rehoming them haha

Have you posted an ad yet to see if anyone is even interested in buying?
I think you might be in trouble when you realize it isn't easy selling.

I got a tracking number! My next batch of eggs should arrive Thursday or Friday!

I'm not giving my incubator any rest. I'm going to be setting new eggs as soon as the current batch hatches.

This is why you need two incubators. You can use one as an incubator and the second as a dedicated hatcher while you do continuous hatches.

Besides the incubator stays much cleaner than the hatcher since there is no chick dander released.
