➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Hi Kelsey :frow How are you doin' lady? Got any fun plans for the weekend?

:hugs:hugs:hugs

I think we as a society could all stand to be a little more empathetic, because there is often more to the story than we might think. That was the big point of my post. And I appologize for sometimes not practicing what I preach. You are well within your rights to stand up for yourself, your job, and your goals. Just remember that no one like to hear their past or present job written off as "easy" or "not real" Even restaurant and retail workers ;)

And I AM proud of you for taking on your own car payments, and finding a therapist. Those are both huge steps. Just keep moving forward like that. Keep taking concrete, specific steps towards fulfilling your goals. Breaking into the job market is tough but just keep applying everywhere you can. You never know what might happen

Also, if it helps at all, Kiki probably would have murdered 18 year old me :lau I didn't graduate high school, I had no driver's license, no job, and lived at home. But I got things together eventually, one step at a time.

JUST KEEP PUSHING FORWARD! :thumbsup
18 yr old you no... But if you had been 25 with no job and living at home I might have murdered you.

@RUNuts Are these fridge HGs?

I'll catch up on all the k dog stuff ASAP.
We have Malted Milk Balls.
1 frig hatched
1 (and only) fresh HG was the first one out.

2 More frig HG pipped this morning. I call it pipped. It's a hole. Not a zip yet, but oh, so much more than just a cracked shell. There is movement in the holes.

This was a wonky hatch. 16 days to first hatch. Temperature up and down. Humidity ran at 20% until lock down when I added a jar to get it to 30-40%. The small tray would shoot it above 50%. AC vents are open. May need to close them back or something. Same spot as last year's hatches.

Afraid this hatch will last 4 days. They have until Sunday. Hoping last Baby makes it.

What does a failing thermostat look like? Boom and dead? Or slowly drifting one direction?

A failing thermostat can be either instant failure or a slight drift in either direction.. Failure of a wafer often requires frequent adjustment as the drift continues.

Thank you kind sir!
I'm blaming the weather and the AC. Much more erratic than last year. However, I've adjusted nothing. Steady as she goes.

i’m experiencing some similar issues due to switching from a/c to heat in the house as ambient daily temps go from freezing to mid 70’s (and when you live with fat ppl, a/c gets turned on anytime house goes over 65*) these same ppl don’t remember to switch it back to heat before bed! :he
