mine will still require a lot of work but figure I still have 6-8 weeks before buttons and other birds can move in.....tomorrow I’m cleaning yard, finishing the mulch in the garden, and considering trying to get back on staining/painting......I’ve got to find more projects that don’t require trips to store for supplies!!!

I started out working on putting the HC on the new Bob pens... ran out of wire, so then moved on to Jake's new house. HC is rough on hands! Jake's new roosts are made out of 4"x4" timbers! They'd support a flying elephant!

We have external pips!!

I have 6 pips in my incubator right now! Bet there'll be more chicks in the morning!

Do you lockdown on day 14 or 16? Bator has been swinging, so went to lockdown on day 14 for the Malted Milk Balls. They hatched on the 16th day.

This bunch will hit day 14 on Wednesday, so they are right behind yours. Godd hatching!

@Kiki - a couple of the Milk Balls have white primary feathers. The Rosetta with the yellow on the chin has a small soul patch of white.

Still at 1 hatch....#2 has been Zipping most of the day....several more pipped....today was beautiful weather so have been working outside again most of the day.....

I have lots of pips. No zips so far. I'm going to wake up to an incubator overflowing with chicks. I just know it.

I left the house for half an hour to get some gengar raids in, and I come back to four chicks!
