Really? After the infertile issues, QB#12 was 85%. Homegrown. QB#13 had 1 infertile and 2 early quitters at lockdown. Ask me next week how many hatched.

These are homegrown, though. YMMV

but those aren’t shipped eggs!! not now at least unless you consider that they’ve been shipped from the cage to the incubator

i recommend an assortment from myshire......that way duckling can pick the colors she wants you to keep for pets and ones she wants to eat!

If I do Myshire, I’m doing the sexlink assortment. Not the Egyptian Pharoah mix, the feather sexable mix.

of course the jumbo are larger than the colors at 8-10 weeks, but the colors can get just as big.....the rosetta tux that i hatched valentine’s day are HUGE!

the sexlink are awesome so you know exactly girls from boys day 1.....the feather sexable mix is good if you want some color variety but still able to sex easily at 3ish weeks.....both are a bit pricey though comparatively.....

I’m on day four with a batch of the feather sexable mix. Super excited for the different colors.

My third quail hatch is now on lockdown. Out of 120 eggs set to incubate, I set 108 in lockdown. I'm very happy with that number. My last hatch out of 107 eggs in incubator, 74 hatched. I'm hoping to get, at least, 80 out of this one. I've got a second turner running now and expecting weekly hatches.

Every one of my next 3 hatches is already pre-sold with deposits made. Then, every other 1 after that is sold through April. Good year, so far, for quail sales.

@Kiki when do you add the numbers to your list? When they're set, when they hatch or both?

I was adding them at set and hatch.
