Look what I found this morning!!!! How do you water these little buggers without setting it up as a drowning pool? The clear lid beside the HUGE Button is to a little water bottle.

I am still using something similar to your bottle cap lid.
I put two little marble things in it to hold it down some.

Not even quite sure how old my fakers are but they are still extremely tiny.
I actually have a regular chick waterer in their brooder but I don't think they can even drink out of it.

I'm the same! I won't sleep for several days now, because I'll have to keep one eye on their waterer & the other on the incubator!!!

The first cap that you had pictured...
It's plenty enough water if you're going to be home and keeping an eye on it to refill it.

Penny.... I think I would use a smaller cap like the first one you had.
The bigger one just gives the dummies more room to jump in it and play and they're dumb they'll do it.

I'll bet Walmart has parakeet waterers. There prolly hasn't been a run on those--yet. Bet they'll even bring it out to your car, with chocolate if you like.
