Yes we have dogs and quail in the background! We just remembered that this should have been Thunder over Louisville so there’s also fireworks going off everywhere!

So I accidentally candled the button eggs again. I found three developing for sure and one maybe.

My current batch is still hatching, but the last 7 eggs have been moved to a mini-bator.

In the main incubator I have set:
32 HG
41 Pansy fee plus misc

Edit: Looking at those numbers, I'm kind of thinking maybe I set too many...

Nah. The incubator isn't even close to full. There's space for 47 more eggs!

- is there any way to track a specific hens egg lay rate?

Only if you keep the hens in their own individual cages or if the hens that are caged together lay completely different looking eggs.

- Do any colors have health issues associated with them?

There are known lethal genes.

An encore because you asked!!! A little backstory first....the first song I posted was a kitty wells song that I remember my grandmother singing when I was young....the encore is a duet that my mom and my aunt used to sing with my uncle and I started singing with him as a child (my family had a band for many years) DH just recently learned it for me (so I could sing it during karaoke) *blank screen again*
