I’ve only attempted plucking on one bird and quickly gave up. I didn’t try scalding though so maybe that makes a difference? I’m considering just breasting out the cleaned birds the next round and making stock with the rest. I feel like I never get much meat off the legs and thighs.

we package the legs to fry for breakfast when we breast out the birds for dinners......the legs are a nice breakfast addition!

So you just put paper towel over the bird cage wiring bottom or did you take it out? I have a bird cage I'm not using so I'd love to do something like this.
