Yes they are literally “flying mice”
Of course my homegrowns are crazy like this in the brooder but yesterday in the aviary I was actually able to pick up and hold most of them

I think they’re broken

Maybe you could play some classical music or talk radio for them??? That way they can get used to humans talking/people sounds. They can’t freak out if it’s 24/7. well... they could but it’d get exhausting.
