@Kiki i was so upset that you were thinking of re-homing or “offing” your buttons and my idiot self managed to kill 5 more of mine!! they had been doing so well outside in their little cage, but the rainy weather and drop in temp was just too much for them 3 died overnight, 2 were beyond help and I managed to get the last one inside to the brooder just in time!!
I transferred 18 babies to the brooder this morning and there’s about 10 more ready to be transferred tonight. I will try to remove some shells at the same time to make room for next round!! Pics coming soon!!

I get home and one of my quail got out of the brooder and all over the floor

They are a little over a week! Already flying why didn't you warn me

I can not wait to see what colors you get.
I am fixing to send my babies off to their new home.

They feather so fast it is ridiculous!

I wish chickens feathered that fast so that I could see what they'll look like I'm a few weeks. Some feather so slowly.

Awesome color variety here....not exactly sure how many are homegrown vs myshire but by my dates, should be mainly homegrown.....at least 2 more were zippering while I was transferring....I’m a little worried about 1 that is a big beautiful pansy chick but very lethargic and doesn’t seem to have its eyes open
