We have an Eastern Bluebird living in the Purple Martin House. I've been unsuccessful grabbing a worthy picture. Yesterday, the Bluebirds were chasing a squirrel away from the bird house. The squirrel went to ground and when I charged it went over the garage instead of the dog yard. We tried.

For the last decade or so, we have had Bluebirds living in nest boxes and then in the neighborhood. I see them most years. Gorgeous birds.

I saw some guinea pig hideouts. I’m going to check dollar tree first because I don’t want what I buy on amazon to be too small

I usually get to see one or a pair of bluebirds every spring. They never stay to nest. I suspect the Grackles of being the reason that many of the smaller birds do not stick around.

Good idea!! They will probably have something. I think @Kiki actually has some plastic tote or basket thingies from a dollar store she uses?? Or those plastic or wooden igloo things from the pet stores are good too although more expensive probably haha
