Oh, the weather change (? don't know what else?) kicked the quail into gear. Getting more eggs and it looks like the rooster is pulling hair again.

Double yolker? Don't expect it to hatch.

Sounds like they need pointers on incubation. Do they have multiple thermometers? Etc?

No nutter ..these big eggs are the ones my big dark homegrown girl lay.

I hatched all 3 that I set last go around.
Not double tokers.

She lays 17 gram eggs every single day.
Since she started laying.

I offed two of the three I hatched recently.
One was an accidental off. I couldn't tell she was a female.
