āž” Quail Hatch Along🄚

What are these? Bobwhites or bantam chickens? Sorry, newbie here, never seen these.
Too funny. Goose eggs. Rooster is in the wrong forum and laid a huge goose egg!

These thing will be the size of full grown quail when they hatch. Good Luck, Rooster! Hoping for 7 out of 7 healthy chicks.

20 something have popped out so far but I have two eggs left that are definitely alive and it is almost day 20. These extended hatches are frustrating. I must have some cold spots in the incubator :/

Maybe I'll try again for the EHAL. Does it help to rotate the location of the eggs for these styrobators? It does have a fan.

I try to keep eggs out of the cool spots in my incubator. That's one reason to have multiple thermometers in there. I keep three, so I know where the warm and cool spots are. If the incubator is really full and you have to put eggs in the off temp parts, you probably should rotate them around.

Yeah I had 3 thermometers in there. Two spots were a little high (100-101.5) and one was low (95-96), even if I swapped the thermos around. I guess I don't have to fill up the incubator but... quail math!
