➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

Just wanted to share my new quail cages I got yesterday 😄
The people selling them are downsizing their rabbitry, so they have a TON of cages for sale. These two sets were all I could fit in my truck 😅 The black one is in really good shape, and has the manure trays with it. The other one just needs patched in a few spots, and I have to go back later to get the manure trays.

Lucky you!!

We repair most of the holes…..some are really random so not sure if they were chewed or just friction type holes (wear and tear) We also removed vines and the old netting over the chicken run area and got the electric fence plugged back up.
Started dinner, cleaned leaves off the deck, pumping out the pool cover, and picked up limbs from front yard. +\- a few odds and ends. Mr muddy is having trouble with his back again and has to take ds2 to work in a little bit so not as much done as I had hoped :th

Just wondering, is there any certain way I should clean these before I move my birds in? I’m hoping to get them up and running before dark :fl

Gosh they grow so fast.
just 2 days shy of 4 weeks now!

i still need to sex my last batch of 7. Is putting them by themselves and waiting to hear a crow the best course of action at this point? Most of my birds are not feather sexable :(
