➡ Quail Hatch Along🥚

How many now Bee?
Ummm... Around 50? One failed to thrive, one hatched with its intestines on the outside, but the rest look happy and healthy.

I still didn't have a great hatch rate, but it was better than my last one. I'm learning how to hatch at high altitude. I'm not giving up on the rest of the eggs yet. I had a couple surprise hatches today, so I'll probably candle early in the morning and see if there are signs of life in the remaining eggs.

Is this one feathered in yet?
All but the head! This phase is the funniest to me, their heads look so tiny 😆 It’s a really sweet quail, totally happy just sitting with me 😍 Gonna look a lot like it’s Daddy!

I finally got the barn cleaned out and most of my birds moved back into the HatchingTime cage. The water system must have frozen again right before I moved everyone for the winter - I filled it and water started pouring out of the plastic pipes 😂 I have them (hopefully) fixed, so I just have to put it back together
