My kids love them plain with strawberry jam, hot or cold! Not quite a biscuit but more like a pudding!I loved listening to this guy. The intonation he used made this addicting to listen to. Weird, huh? Anyway, I think Iām gonna try these myself. But I donāt know that Iāll be able to place these before my DH and say, āHey, hon, I want you to try this Yorkshire Pudding.ā Heād look at me half cocked and say, āWhat, these biscuits?ā Because everyone knows that biscuits are good with any meal in the South.
Iām pretty sure I thought Yorkshire Pudding was similar to Figgy Pudding.
Well then, he did leave out a very important aspect of the recipe and I would have done just that, and āPoofā my pudding would have been gone. One thing he didn't say is DON'T open the oven to check on them before they're cooked, they will sink.
Now this does sound very good. They're really nice with mincemeat and carrots with mash potato.![]()

I wish you luck. Itās safe to say that most peeps in the UK buy pork pies, rather than cook from them scratch. Thatās no reason not to give it a goI do believe I will try this. Some pickles / chutney are a good accompaniment- they help cut through the richness. My mouth is watering as I write thisIf these are sold in the US Iāve never seen them, but also Iāve never looked.
