I am losing 2-3 pullets/hens a week from this. I thought it was the heat, but this past week has been much cooler and they are still dying. Can anyone help me identify the problem? They have one eye that is shut and has a thick clear mucus coming out, they are lethargic, then they die.

If you are losing birds to this illness, and it's main symptoms are respiratory/eye- you need to get one or more tested to find out what you are dealing with- then you will know how to treat (or if it is treatable). What state or country are you in? You may have free or inexpensive testing in your area.
