Random but some how I always get white Silkies but I have no white Silkies.

I had no clue silkies were in so many colors! Genetics is not a simple thing to comprehend

Well the Brinsea should arrive tomorrow! Anyone have any experience with them? It's an Octogon 20 advanced. I'm wondering if I should trust the temperature on the display or if I should be worried at all that it might be off!

You should always check the temperature--It is very important compared to humidity.

Temps need to stay within one degree of 99.5
Humidity can be in a range of about 20% so not as critical.

Right, I wasn't sure how accurate the reading on the unit is though, I would hope considering how much it cost it would be pretty accurate, but all I've ever used is styrofoam, I want my first hatch to be a success.
If I don't trust the digital read out, what do I use?

I use a brinsea spot check--it goes into the air vent on top.

Mine is very accurate but you should always test a new incubator. GQF sold a batch of Genesis 1588 incubators that were 2 degrees low. It messed up a lot of peoples hatches. GQF replaced them if you had one though.
