This is Pip! First fertile egg after weeks and months of infertile eggs 🐣🐥

When he/she pipped it's egg he/she only took 2 hour's to hatch :)

Fastest hatcher I've ever seen!

Atm Pip is with my 2 La Bresse chicks that hatched Wednesday.

Also I think I heard peeping in the 3rd egg so fingers crossed 🕺🐤

Ohmygoodness! I need some of these!

I WANT my gander to flippin figure out how to DO this.
:rantNone of my geese have much in the way of feathers on the backs of their little heads, and none of their eggs have targets, either. Oh well... I'd almost have to be sad if they did. No available incubator space at the moment. Not sure they're old enough to be wise mommies...? One year old, all of them, at the end of April. (WHICH IS WHEN MY COWS ARE SUPPOSED TO CALVE!!! :ya) So there's that. :love:love:love IF they're actually preggers.:fl I really don know as much as I ought to about this sort of thing.

So the 3rd egg pipped at the wrong end of the egg, I had to help this guy out as it was 24 hour's after pipping, I wouldn't have helped if it was at the right side of the egg but he started fluffing up and getting super chatty so I knew he was ready to hatch.

⚠️⚠️⚠️Never help a gosling or any bird when it's hatching, unless you know what you're doing⚠️⚠️⚠️

If you really think the baby needs help with hatching you need to remember that if the membrane bleeds it needs more time to absorb the yoke. If the membrane doesn't bleed and is gooey, its ready to come out.

I didn't think 3rd egg was going to make it as I stopped turning it 6 day's before hatch but it did! It explains why he pipped at the wrong end.

Also it's a buff African gosling so I'm super thrilled !!

His feet aren't flat on the ground when he walks so I've to sort something out 😉
