Hatching

Hi all.

3-4 days til hatch. The air cell is way too small due to high humidity. I mean way too small. There is movement inside the two eggs (kicking and jerky movements) when candling. These are mandarin duck eggs. The air cell is probably half of what is should be, I know that the temp was too high. But right now THE ONLY THING I NEED TO KNOW is should I poke a small hole in the top of the rounded portion of the egg in the air cell so the chick has room to breath after initial pip? Thanks.

Update 6/6/2020

Both chicks died one day before hatch day. I have photos if anyone would like to try to help diagnose what happened. I’m guessing humidity issues.
Thanks.
