Update: After a week and a half of oil and crop massages, my Sally finally got out what caused her impacted crop. I am not sure how this got through her, but it was underneath her this morning. The long poop was rolled tight and fairly hard to break up.
My lesson has been learned.. no more hay or long grasses so far Sally seems to be okay as she is eating and I saw a normal poop come out of her.
She did have two days with a crop full of liquid since she was drinking a lot (I guess trying to get the impaction cleared). Hopefully that issue will go away now that the blockage is out of the way
Thank you for all your suggestions and ideas!! I think they helped Sally a lot!! ❤️

Wow! Well done for your perseverance and to her for managing to pass that! You both did a great "job", her more literally than you!!;)

Thanks so much for posting this update as it will hopefully give others an insight into what can go wrong with just a small management/diet change and that massage and oil can really help shift these things, even if it takes a while. It is always helpful to know for sure what caused the problem and it's very clear that the alfalfa was the issue in this case. I think in winter when there is so little greenery for them to forage on, the temptation to over indulge on something like this when they get the opportunity is just too good to resist..... a bit like putting me in a room full of chocolate when I haven't had any for weeks
