It’s awesome! If you can an old chicken, the meat will still be stringy. There’s no getting around that. But I canned a turkey, and began using the meat in everything just because it was so handy. It’s also delicious because it’s nice and moist. Btw, you don’t have to add water/broth when canning raw meat. It makes its own broth.
I also use the pressure canner to make stock. It takes about ninety minutes.

The first bug eyes babies of the year! 2 out of 3 hatched. Little bourbon redsBoth are scheduled to leave next weekend. The people asked if I'd hold them till next weekend so the babies can learn to eat and they can get things set up and ready at their house.

The difference is amazing when you see them side by side. I never thought about stock vs: broth. Now I always use the pressure canner to make the stock, and of course can it afterwards.

Do fertilized turkey eggs look like fertilized chicken eggs? With the bullseye?I`ve got fertile eggs from my BBB in 2017, got some nice toms.
