I know these technical terms can become confusing. A lot of people never use the term “Tommy”.

But I bet they have no idea about what a “Martin” is either... and I don’t mean the song bird

I thought a martin was a female cow that was born as a twin to a male calf and the male pheromones screwed up the development in utero so the female is sterile?

Why not just use British terminology and call him Bully since they refer to toms as Bulls.

I did not know that, however, it makes sense the Brits have a ton of weird names for things.


However, I am not willing to throw anti-social labels on JJ jr. This early in his schooling.

I think it is any cow that does not breed. A baron von cow...

Keep a few BOSS seeds in your pocket. Hand JJJr. one every so often. That might help. Of course he may realize your pocket is the source of all seeds & get his head stuck in your pocket. That happened to me. But an occasional seed seemed to help at first. At first I'd hand them just one seed at a time after saying their name. Now they lap without seeds. They just want attention! That or a soft place for a nap!
