A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I'm not sure--but think everyone from TX and LA have been accounted for. Don't know all the status or how they fared property wise. Some are in their homes, while others are in shelters.

As of approximately 20 minutes ago, the death toll was at 31 with at least another 20 missing.

The fate of livestock and pets are unknown, but those numbers are bound to be high. JR has lost many of his birds. Although I am very happy he is safe, I am still heartbroken for him.

Someone said they were still in rescue mode - let alone recovery. Rebuilding is barely on the table other than talk right now. Rebuilding alone will probably take years as even those affected by Katrina are still having difficulties.

Very sad state of affairs and it's nowhere over yet. :(

Agreed Flash....its going to be a long haul down there. I heard there is over 300 square miles of flooded property. I can't get my mind around it.
Thanks for the JR update. Wish he would check in with us.

Here's the latest radar from a couple minutes ago... It doesn't look like the West side has moved all day, just setting there.
