A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Poor Romeo is depressed :( everytimee I look at him, he's just laying around :( Poor guy. He's been in charge for about 3 years now. This is a big change for him.
That's the trouble for me having lappers, I would say it's time for freezer camp. But he is too sweet to think of that. No way I could do a lapper.

I moved Romeo, Princess and Duchess over to the kennel this morning. When I walked in to the turkey pen, Romeo was practically crying and chasing new down just to get the handful of food I had and was cowering from ALL the other rooms, even the younger boys that hatched this spring. I figured enough is enough. He was a bit upset at first, pacing in the kennel and wanting out but now that the girls are in there with him, he's calmed down and started strutting again :) The girls are not happy about this though. They can hear all their friends and want to be back with them :/ Hopefully, they'll all adjust to this new arrangement.

A turkey without tail feathers is just not right.
