Twice in the last month, I have had one hen each out of the two - fly up into a 30-foot tree. They will not come down if called, offered food and just "hen cluck" me. Since I can't climb like a cat, I have to let them stay and hope for the best - knowing they might get eaten. So far, early the next morning - each of them has flown down into the run.At lock up I seen something outside the poultry yard trying to get in.
Ralphie's Tom must have sent a carrier pigeon to corrupt my jennie.
I was able to open the net fence and get her back in.
I will be SO Happy when I can finally get the top across it!
