Local laws regarding feral livestock do permit capturing and after 3 generations in captivity they are permitted for food use/and are legally sellable as meat, someone is actually attempting to do this with some of the feral goats... there are a few places where it is only a kilometer or so between some smaller islands between the inhabited ones... turkeys are not native to our area, and the hens are clearly domesticated broad breasted bronzes.
The island is about 31 square kilometers in size, or 12 square miles
