I don't blame you. Sure they want out but you won't be happy after a long day at work & come home to dead chickens. Bigger run that will help.

Agreed!
I only have 5 chickens and I want them to be happy. I can't afford to lose even one. Integrating newbies into a flock is more agonizing than any other aspect of raising chickens. I hate to see the pecking and the fear in the new ones, as they are immediately the bottom of the pecking order. More space is always a plus.
