Thanks, I have one that I'm calling Ginger Red, he looks more like a New Hampshire, but maybe a little brighter colored. He's also throwing it on some of his babies.

I've had a terrible time finding wheaten Ameraucana bantams, but this pair showed up in an order of bantam ee's from Cackle this year. The male looks to be lavender based to me, what do you think? The female is so washed out I'm having trouble telling, plus she has the wrong color legs. ... But could be fun to hatch from next year, couldn't they? Any chance of moving in the direction of lavender wheaten with this pair? I also have access to lavender bantams I could pair with the cockerel.
They are about seven weeks in this photo, both have nice beards, just wet here.
Is the boy blue splash based, or lavender based?.
