That about sums it up for me. I might play around on the forum some, but I spend just as much time answering chicken questions and helping folk out.
Playing around and being a little silly now and then might not be productive, but it sure helps the forum "personality" to make it a fun place to be - and that part is discounted alot, some threads that go on and on and on don't help either, and I'm very seldom part of those.

Some might lump me in with a bunch of other's with high posts, that haven't been here as long, and never do anything to help or answer questions about CHICKENS.

I'm feeling just a little bit "kicked in the pants" by it all - hence I've asked (reported my own posts and PM'd mods to remove all my previous posts on this thread)

I'm sure that some of you just want more pic space or pm space. However, you are also getting your name in red, a custom title, and input into new ideas , etc, before the rest do.

I would have thought more senior members would have gotten priveledges like that.

I guess I just like one of those places where the most senior members get the keys to the executive washroom. Oops, forgot those keys are being paid for

Good Luck Nifty, I hope this venture works out well and that it will lead to more information and what not, and of course a bigger fan club for well chickens in the backyard in general. I have noticed in my neck of the woods that a lot more chickenie people I meet are now memebers of the site or use the site quite often to get themselves up and going with their chickens. So BYC is up and going strong down here in the south as far as I can see. so I think this will be a good thing to boost the site even more as newer members will want to seek out those in the GFM as more knowledgable folk to guide them in the right direction to find what information they need. so cudos and good luck. Maw.

I have always thought that any group , family, club, etc etc does very well until some kind of favoritism becomes noticeable. And tho this is not exactly a favoritism thing, it's similar in that you can buy priviledges for 12-20 bucks that you can't get by just being a senior member here, and being useful and helpful to anyone

I have been a part of two other forums that did the same thing and nothing changed except a load off of the administrators back. Chill out I have loved this forum until now. How many of you dish out hundreds a year for cable tv? No one is BUYING any privileges except to have more memory and pick silly titles for themselves. This is a fun and informative place the best of both worlds lets keep it that way.

Know why I joined the GFC? Because I feel that as a heavy user/miner of info on this site, I should be willing to help out with expenses. Fair trade, I'd say.
