According to regulations, you are only allowed seven ducks in a day. No more than two can be female mallards.

What I got was a female mallard.

A recipe that is a work in progress:

Jared's duck noodle soup:

One whole duck ( store-bought or Wild)

Salt

Egg noodles

Water

Step one: preheat the oven to 350. Roast the duck in the oven for 30 minutes per pound, or until internal temperature is 165.

Step 2: after the duck is done, cut meat off the bone. Save the carcass and bones! Set the meat aside.

Step 3: boil the carcass, bones and all, in water for 20 minutes. Add salt to taste for the duck stock.

Step 4, boil the noodles in the duck stock, add diced duck meat.

Enjoy!

Any ideas to help improve my recipe will be appreciated. It's already delicious the way it is.

Jared
Jared, Sounds good. When I was first married and my husband
brought home a DUCK...I had quite an experience cooking it.
First let me tell you ....my husband was NEW at hunting and he
had a "diver"...one that is NOT fit to cook or eat. It was so tough
....DINNER WAS NOT DUCK that evening. Enough said. Aria
