Here is the ranch dressing recipe for anyone that wants it. This makes about a gallon so reduce however you want.

Ranch Dressing
8 cups real mayo
4 cups sour cream
1 cup buttermilk (more if you like a thinner dressing)
4 tsp. parsley
4 tsp. dill weed
1 Tab Herb de Provence
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Combine everything, mix well to eliminate lumps. Keep refrigerated.

That's all there is to it! Taste great on salads (of course), baked potatoes, French fries, chicken tenders, etc.
Hello! Just stumbled across this thread - I didn't even know there was a baking thread on here. Sounds like a thread I would love to visit.

I have to say, we LOVE ranch dressing, but it is pretty expensive at the grocery store. If I could make a dressing that Hubs liked, it would probably save us a lot of money. Thanks so much for sharing your recipe!

Hi, Penny1960 - I always see your posts on the gardening thread!

Today was a beautiful fall kinda day here. I didnt feel wonderful so didnt wanna stand in the kitchen to do much. Pulled out a rabbit and hubby was lookin at recipes. Coq a vin won. It was so so good! We dont do true red wines here because of migraines but i had a muscadine wine open... y.u.m. Too bad i didn't think of bread when i got up from a nap. :/. It woulda been so good with it.
