Came home from work and the bator was up to 103.4!!!!!

day 23 here... nada

got called in to work at midnight and it was 99 & 55% when I got home, had actually been the most stable ever for the last 2 days.
Just ordered http://www.jmtdistributors.com/rcom-20-digital-incubat.html and will get more eggs soon.
took out a leaker (leaking amber stinky liquid) on day 22 but afraid to open it.
How long past day 21 do you leave them?

They had many days at 99 and a few at 103, humidify was 55% for the first 2 weeks then slipped when i thought they were likely dead... to 35 before I caught it.

faerielady, don't fret. My 'bator was all over the place and I still had 2 of those 4 hatch out. One (I) quit very early and J was clear. There is still a chance. I know mine was up to 104° for a little while and it had dropped below 95° at one point (guess who forgot to make sure the water was warm before she added it....)

So here are my two little ones:

G (General Tso aka Ginny Tso) is the black and white and H (Hay Lin aka Hickory) is the...
I'm not really sure what color that would be.

Is that gray, silver, blue? I've not had one this light before.

Shelley, what did your splash babies look like? (I loved the one in the second pic.)

Laurieks, could you try that float method they mentioned earlier in this thread?

OK my Silkies are all dry but I have no clue what color they are..

Total 4 none from the broody made it!!! But They are sooo CUTE!!

They are sooooooooooooo cuteeeeeeee.
I ended up with 18 hatching out so far. 3 of the EE eggs haven't hatched and 7 of the Cochin mixes. I am going to give them until tomorrow and see what is going on with them. I did lose one after it hatched. It was fine this morning when I moved them to the brooder but I went to the chicken swap and came home to find it dead. It looks like it curled up for a nap and didn't wake up. RIP little chickie.
I will try to get some pictures up tomorrow.

I have another Batch I just put on Lockdown today so I hope that I have better luck.

These came from Bobbi Porto I candled and almost all where fertile so

After my Halloween Hatch I am done..At least till spring

These are the olive eggers... Enden up with 7 total...

2 Silver laced wyndottes and 2 more white silkies from September egg swap...
