Anyone Collect Antiques? (Pics)

One of my family members collect true German steins. Sadly, I can't get any pics up because the camera is broken.

I will try to get some pictures later. Way too much glass and China. Most is packed up right now. I do have the Hall china out and use most of the griswald. Rosenthal, noratake, depression glass and I can't think of the name of the crystal. Some chairs, tables and of course one of those sewing machines. Several railroad lanterns sitting around. My grandmothers and greatgrandmothers quilts. Then there is the set of pictures of the original lake erie sailing fleet. I had 3 great aunts born in the 1890's , they all had matching dowry supplies china, silver and crystal. They all married but none had children. One husband worked for griswald, one owned a feed store and one worked for the railroad. Sadly no feed store stuff left but I inherited most of the other stuff.

I seriously doubt I have more than three antiques in my collection of Hen-on-nest dishes, but I am collecting 'em anyway. I like the colors, and I am learning a lot about the various types. (Split tail or not, Fenton or depression glass, Mosser, etc.)

Alot of mine are split tailed or V tailed. I have no idea of the manufacters but I am guessing probably most of them are made in China.......even all of them were from antique stores.

Wow !!! Everything, especially that cash register, is amazing!

If that is the bigger register it's worth a pretty penny. Just saw on some pawn shop show a smaller one that was sold for $500

Yeah, we sold this one for $1,400. at auction. It was all original in working condition (We acually used it in the store), with original paperwork and was nickle silver over brass. 1915 if I remember right.

Wow, that is a pretty register! I also recently started collecting old horse books. I have one from the 70's, and one from the 80's.
