Anyone else get their MPC special? **Pics and updates**

Sunny, boy do they grow fast. I had mine out free ranging today for the first time. They did not go far from thier pen.

Big girls were like oh no more brats..

I have one EE named Chocolate that jumps up on my knee everytime I go sit and talk to them. Seems like one is always friendlier.

Mine spent their first night outside last night. I think it got down to 38. Now if I could just get this silkie chick and the 2 spitz outside.

They are still inside in dining room.

I really want my trailer back.

The chickies don't seem to mind. It's nice and roomy and they're having a grand time.

I can't believe they are four weeks old now! You're right about some just being friendlier. I have a couple of stand outs, most especially my sweet Lily.

This girl is definitely my pet chicken. As soon as I come in, she wants up. If I sit, she's right there in my lap and if I bend over, she hops up on my shoulder or back. It's getting so that I have to be careful when I leave. She tries to come out with me. I think she'd move in the house if I let her. My 8yo DS came in the "trailer coop" with me and she was sweet and sat in his lap and let him pet her. I put her there, but she didn't hurry off. He was thrilled.

The biggest girl is Holly. She's large and plump and pretty docile.

The runt of the litter has to be Blackberry. This was my little black chick. She's going to end up cute, but she is smaller and is slow to feather out. Here she is doing her velociraptor impersonation.

I have lots of fun colors! EEs really are a grab bag.

Thistle:

Paprika: (she also likes to ride on my shoulder)

Hickory: (this "girl" is really friendly, but she's on my "roo watch" list. Oh, I hope its a girl. DH can't stand roos because he's a light sleeper.)

Hickory scares me a little with that red comb also that color pattern almost looks a little bit like some of the EE roos that

Thanks for the updated pics, Soccer Mom; they sure are getting big and looking pretty! I have a few suspect pink combs, too; I'll just have to watch them and see what happens.

Houston, we have a coop!

The chickies spent last night in their new coop. They seem to be loving it. The weather couldn't be more gorgeous and they have lots of room. I don't know the dimensions, but DH built them a HUGE coop. I guess he's tired of me contantly asking for bigger coops.
