Announcement April Fools 2020 - Exciting New Chicken Breed: Quickens

In addition to being fun for April Fools, because of the subject you chose, we learned that quail chicken hybrids have actually succeeded in the past. Well, the article (link given in post 29 p 3) says they got 10 chicks out of 2,000+ eggs and 4 survived. I don't know if you'd consider that very successful but I think it's remarkable. Eggs hatched at 19 days, midway between quail and chicken incubation time. The offspring had no combs as you see in the photo. Maybe with today's technology, though, creating this hybrid could become more feasible. So thanks for the inspiration! I still have hope for Quickens!!!!!!
