I very recently started a thread about my year and a half old black Swedish, April. She was having some problems with her poop and she was passing on these weird rubbery leathery white hollow looking things. I received a lot of suggestions and answers, so thank you so much for all of the support.

However, today, I noticed that she is quacking loudly again, and she is walking around a lot more. She swam today, too. I still haven't found any eggs which I'm still concerned about, because I thought she was egg bound. I brought her my bathtub and put some warm water in it. She stood there, and then she pooped. The poo looked nothing like the one she did yesterday, it was a completely different color and texture. It was green and flakey kinda, and I noticed tiny little blades of what looked like grass in her poop. Is this bad? Or is her pooping a good sign? Why hasn't she still layed any eggs? Is she getting better? Does this mean she still might be egg bound? I still have many questions on this journey to get to the bottom of whatever this is. If you think you may know something about this, please comment on this thread. Thank you! Most appreciated!

That's very good that her poop was back to normal. She may be forming up her egg normally again, so her problems can be going away. It is a good sign that she is perking up, hopefully she will lay an egg soon!! :)

Yay! Thanks! Her poop seemed almost normal, I'm pretty sure she's slowly getting better. We ordered this calcium supplement spray/liquid bird stuff, I was going to try that on her but I'm not sure if I have to anymore. If I don't see an egg within the next 3 days, would it be a good idea to try it? Because she usually lays every 1-2 days.

I have never heard of the spray supplement, but I would do it regardless if she lays or not as she needs more calcium especially with having an egg problem right now. It may prevent her from having another! Let me know if she lays! :)

Okay, thanks! I'll be sure to try it now :) when you said it may prevent her from having another, did you mean that the calcium supplement may prevent her from laying? I have a friend who told me it worked on one of her eggbound Pekins, but then again im not sure if April is eggbound or not

I just noticed your new thread after I responded on your other one. So please read my response. Also have you checked to see if you feel a lump? If she’s stuck there’s a good chance you will feel a big lump underneath. The liquid calcium I used was not a spray if that was what you were referring to. You want to give her a boost of calcium to get that egg out.

Oh, okay. Sorry about that confusion. I did respond to the other post, but I guess it didnt get through? I haven't felt for a lump yet, but I will tomorrow morning. Once the liquid calcium arrives I will deffinitely use it on her. I'll update you on if I feel a lump on her or not. Thank you so much :)

I meant it may help her not have another egg problem! Hopefully it will help her eggs come out normally again
