Are my eggs bad?

My Muscovy has a clutch that’s way past her 35 day incubation. Some people said to candle them and check on them but I’m having a hard time identifying if they’re good or not. I look at reference charts but I’m so confused. Can someone please tell me if I just take them from her cuz they’re bad. Or do I leave them and keep hoping. And if so how much longer do I wait?

In my opinion they’re all bad but I’d prefer to hear someone’s opinion who is a lot more experienced then I am.

Disclaimer: I am a newbie (less than 1 year) but have had 3 hatches by broodies. Not all eggs made it.

Do you see any movement in them? Some times it is hard. I will put doubtful ones in a glass of water. tap on the egg to wake anything up then lower very slowly into the water so that there is no movement in the water. If anything in the egg is moving, you will see the egg move in the water.

If those eggs are 35 days in, yes, they are dead.

First one is rotten, rest died somewhere in development. Yes they are bad, toss em.

Now I am getting worried about my experiment. Day 17 and we can see less and less when candling . We still see veins in all of them. Most you can see movement inside while candling. Air sacs are still getting bigger. My concern is that I was a half degree C too high the first four days. Maybe they are burning out from that and will not finish. My plan is to lock down day 25 instead of 26. Sorry no pictures but there is not much to see.

At 35 days, those should be full of baby duck. They're duds.

Thank you for all of the replies. I took away all of her eggs and messed up the nest. Hopefully she’ll get over it quick. On the positive side two of my other females are brooding. Will probably be candling them soon to check their progress.

So for my other females should I candle all the eggs and discard any and all duds? Does this help the incubation of the other eggs? Because one of my females has twenty eggs (no joke) and I’m wondering if it would help her and the other eggs to candle and remove duds. Or if I’m better off leaving them be.

It's generally a good idea to candle and remove duds, if you can without disturbing the female too much. Otherwise they can burst.
