I have eggs in the incubator. They are bantam eggs and I set them to lock down day 17. Its now been three days. I was dumb and I opened it and candled them.. i saw one had internally pipped. I made sure to do it quickly and put them back exactly the same position. It hasn't hatched and now its night.. none have hatched or externaly pipped.. im worried..

3 chicks!! Two more on the way!

The one that's out, if it's shell is stuck to it you can take her out and help, just be careful not to pull the cord attached to it's navel. Clean Scissors are good to have on hand if that's what's keeping the shell stuck on there. Give it a while to see if it gets itself unstuck first.
Well of course right after I say that it gets out! Lol isnt that how it always happens

Temporary set up. I have to move them back to my place from my moms. They had to be moved when the fires and storms were going on in oregon. So happy to have this many even hatch after all they've been through!

Should I be concerned? A couple have spots that look like their umbilical cords have not healed.. i don't want them to get mushy chicks disease.. what do you guys think??
Ive seen worse, I have one who I thought was going to die with a similar looking, but worse, injury(I was so sure she had to be a mushy chick). SHes over a year old now, and that part of her looks quite lage and wrong now. But she is alive and happy!
