i guarantee you that no animal suffers as much as a butchered or enslaved chicken in the process of growing broccoli, which is far cheaper and more nutritious. maybe you think that the LIFE and suffering of animals is an acceptable cost for convenience and tasty treats but you can obviously see what people think about that point of view. somebody needs to speak up for these poor animals that can't do it themselvesI've done a ton of research, thank you very much. I have done my homework, and have reached my conclusion. Yes it is possible to fulfill dietary needs of an adult with plants. But I've got special needs children to take into consideration, I've got a budget to take into consideration, and I've got to weigh the pros and cons of it all. I am confident that I have made the right choice for me and my family.
Try to be a bit more open minded and less judgemental. Just because something is not the right choice for you, does not mean it's wrong for everybody.
Even growing broccoli does some harm to some animals somewhere. Something lost it's home when the field was tilled, countless number of critters were killed by the machines that are used in modern day farming. Even organic pesticides can harm wildlife. Organic fertilizers utilize the bones and blood of deceased animals. Everything on this planet revolves around a constant dance of life and death, you are not the exception.
