I am a writer too! So far it is just a hobby, though I hope to get a book or two published someday. But I have a strong habit of starting but never finishing books.

I used to write more in 3rd prospective but now do mostly 1st.

My favorite genres to write in are fantasy, fiction, and adventure. My target audience is for children of about 7-18 years.

I am currently working on a retelling of Robin Hood. How it will be different from other retelling is Robin Hood is a girl, but there are already some versions of that, right? So there will be time travel too!

I love reading other people's stories and am glad I found this thread!

That sounds wonderful! My target audience is for older audiences, because my stories can get gory at times.

My target audience is from about 10 to 15 because what I found was there aren’t a lot of books that don’t have swearing and other explicit things in the young adult books so some teens don’t like that kinda thing so I made books without it

Hey guys! I've been RPing for a little over exactly three years now, and working on writing books for two. My current WIP is part of my series Not Normal, revolving around a set of twins, River and Thomas, and their "gang" (More of a dysfunctional revolution turned friends) surviving in a dystopian world.
I write sci-fi, YA fantasy, dystopia, and thriller. For awhile I only really did animals, but this past year and a half I've heavily swung into the lane of supernatural/paranormal humans. I also write in third person omniscient full time
I definitely plan to publish once my first novel, Receding Shadows, is finished. My targeted audience is probably young adult due to the fact, while I never include any nudity or language, it can get pretty violent in death scenes. (Which uh... Happen a bit often.)
That's a quick rundown, and I'm really happy I saw this thread! It's cool seeing other novelists/writers around.

Welcome! It sounds like you are a pretty decent writer. I write sometimes too.
