Australorp Pride! Let's see those pics!

These are my babies. I let their mama hatch them, mostly because I've only ever hatched babies in my incubator and well - chicken math. I only have 2 hens in that coop. One is the mama who laid them and the other is the mama who hatched them. I had to move my whole flock around when they came into the world!

This is the most recent picture I have of him. If he turns out to be a she I may have to get more blue aussie eggs to hatch!

Ok! My first flock of Black Australorps. They are 1 year old & this girl went broody last week. Today when she got off the nest to eat, drink, potty...her left foot appeared drawn up & she was limping. I kept watching her & as she walked around, it appeared to improve. Is it possible for their leg to go to sleep as they sit for long periods of time? That’s what it reminded me of.

Idk about her leg but she's beautiful!

I would imagine that it could fall asleep on her. As long as it get's better as she works the kink's out of it.

I'm in the middle of a hatch right now, but the 3 that are in the process of hatching out are the White Breese.
